This is a mix of medium grade, American tanned sides. There might be a brand on it, or it might have some oxidized areas, or maybe even some off-kilter grain issues. But, while it's not perfect, it's pretty darned good. Hugely popular with holster & sheath makers because of its molding & oiling properties. If you're tooling on it... you will be spoiled rotten!
