This is traditional harness leather just like your grandfather used. These sides are stuffed in drums with heavy tallow for exceptional weather wear, thickness, ease of cutting and durability in the field. Beautifully oiled, large sides with excellent length, perfect for reins of any kind.
Sides average 24 sq ft. Sold by the side. We will not cut.
Since 1881, Hermann Oak has been tanning top-grain leather right here in Missouri. St. Louis-based, the company prides itself on its slow and careful tanning process.
