This famously robust, 16-ply braided thread has been coated with a synthetic wax designed to hold the thread in place and lay flat when working with it, fortifying its strength and durability. Tiger Thread is 100% Polyester, which means that it is UV and mildew resistant, color-fast and fade resistant, and its tensile strength is unsurpassed.
