Smart Watch Strap Connector - Silver
Smart Watch Strap Connector - Silver. Available in 42 mm. and 38 mm. The 42 mm. connector is 1-3/8" and will fit a 15/16" band and the 38 mm. is 1-1/4" and will fit a 7/8" band. 2 Piece set with spring bars. Will accommodate watch straps with thicknesses up to 3.5 mm. (approximately 8 - 9 oz.). The 42 and 38 mm. indicate what size watch face they will fit.
These little guys are used for connecting bands to smart watches. Personalize your smart watch with a band of your choice, and then connect with this hardware. We have two sizes (38 mm., and 42 mm.), and four-color options available (Rose Gold, Gold, Matte Black, and Silver)!
To change your band:
Place your smart watch face down over a clean surface like a lint-free, micro-fiber cloth or soft, padded mat. If you have a link bracelet, press the quick release button on a link to separate the band into two pieces. Hold down the band release button, then slide the band across to remove it. Once you’ve removed the old band or bracelet, you’re ready to attach the new one!
To attach the new band:
Create your watch band (your new band needs to be 3.5 mm. thick, or less at the connection area- you could use a thicker band if you skived down the ends). Prepare the ends of the bands to insert the spring bar on each end (sewing or gluing are good options). Insert the spring bar to each end of the band. Tighten, or push in the spring bar ends and attach the clasp to each end. Finally, slide the band with clasp to each side of your smart watch, it will click when in place- and voila! You now have a new snazzy watch band!
